IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamla Louise
Archie
December 21, 1963 – August 24, 2024
Pamla Louise Archie was born on December 21, 1963, in Washington, DC, to the late Ezekiel and Shirely Archie. Pam peacefully transitioned from this life into God's hands on August 24, 2024, in Largo, MD.
Pam graduated from Calvin Coolidge High School in Washington, DC. Shortly afterwards she started working for the Federal Government, the US Immigration and Naturalization Service. Pam held various positions over the years. Both in the private sector and the Federal Government. With her love for doing hair, she received her certificate in Cosmetology and worked as a beautician for a few years. Which was no surprise. Whenever you saw her, that hair was laid and the threads were threading. No matter where she was going, grocery store, Twin Dragon, etc., she made sure she was together, LOL.
Pam was described as the fun aunt by her nieces and nephews. Whom she doted on constantly since she never had children of her own. She even gave some affectionate nicknames, Pj was "Doo" and Durrell was "Hubba Bubba"…LOL. Pam was the life of the party, her smile and infectiousness laugh would light up a room. She will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents, Zeke and BB as they were known as. She was preceded in death by her oldest brother, Paul Archie Sr., and nephew Pierre Turnage "Doo".
She is survived by: two sisters and one brother, Pauline Miller, Perry Archie, and Penny Archie; three aunts, Gladys Lovick, Thelma Booth, and Essie Fielder; three uncles, Waddell, Tom, and Leroy Canty; four nephews, Lorenzo Miller, Paul Archie, Jr., Durrell Miller (Nina), and Darrion Archie. Four nieces, Danielle Anderson (Christopher), Ashley Durrett (Anthony), Evangeline Archie, and Tiffany Passmore; one brother-in-law, Arthur Miller, fifteen great-nieces and nephews; as well as a host of many cousins and close friends.
