Remembering Nancy Covington

Nancy Covington was born in Mobile, Alabama on February 24, 1946. She attended Mobile County Public Schools and graduated from Mattie T. Blount high school in 1963. She was baptized in Abyssiania Baptist Church at an early age in Mobile, Alabama. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Marshall Heights In Washington, D.C. Nancy worked as a Retail Manager at a well known department store. She loved to cook for the holidays. Her hobbies included knitting and making clothes for her and her dolls., decorating her home for the holidays and listening to her favorite gospel artist. She was affectionally known as "Nana" by her two grandchildren.

Left to cherish her loving memories are her daughter (Monique Marshall, Devoted son in law (Robert Marshall), sister (Helen Sigler and Nettie Hamilton), brother John Walker. Grandchildren, (Felicia and Robyn Marshall).
