In Loving Memories of our "Baby Brother," Lester Craft

Lester departed his life on Monday, December 15, 2025 in Washington, DC.  He was born on January 27, 1958 in Chatham, VA, Pittsylvania County.  He was the youngest sibling of 11 children of the late Cornelius Craft, Sr. and Florence (Clark) Craft.

Lester was educated in the Pittsylvania County Public Schools.  After High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy.  Later he moved to Washington, DC.  His work history included maintenance employment with various car dealerships.  Also, as an entrepreneur, he owned and operated a towing service.

He enjoyed working on vehicles, as well as having a love for driving fast cars. We remember him as always having a smile like our Mother.

Lester leaves to cherish loving memories, two brothers:  Jester Craft(Lillie) and Cornelius Craft, Jr., both of  Chatham, VA and two sisters: Josephine King(Donald), Clementon, NJ and Peggie Hightower(Willie) Greensboro, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
