John Henry Evans Sr., son of the late William Henry and Bestie Carr, was born on November 21, 1944 in Henderson, North Carolina. He transitioned on Friday, August 28, 2020. John Sr. was raised in North Carolina and later moved to Washington, DC. He confessed Christ at an early age, he later joined Mount Victory Baptist in Seat Pleasant, Maryland. John Sr, met and married Beulah Sawyer to this union two sons, the late Milton Evans, and John Jr. They were united and married January 12, 1968. He leaves to cherish his memories, mother Mary P. Evans, his wife Beulah Sawyer Evans, son John and wife Juliana Evans. Two granddaughters Mia Evans and LaTonya Evans, two grandsons Marcus Evans and Milton Dickerson. Two Godsons Malcolm and Micheal, Three Goddaughters Jada and son Johnny, Jade, and Elisabeth McCown. Six brothers and wives, William Jr., Willie, Marvin, Nathaniel, Robert and Leon Evans. One sister Betty Harris, one brother in law, 8 sister in laws and a host cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Acknowledgement The Family of the late John H.
