James William Howard, 34, peacefully departed this life on November 29, 2022.  James was born on August 12, 1988 in Silver Spring, Maryland to James William Howard III and Juanita Hutchins. He grew up in Temple Hills, MD, later residing in Annapolis, MD.

James received his education in the Prince George's County Public School system, where he obtained his high school diploma. During his high school years James also participated in the U. S. Army ROTC program. James loved working with his hands, and held various jobs including doing landscaping, detailing cars, and repairing and fixing things.

James was a loving, caring and giving son. He cared for us dearly and deeply and gave his very best in everything that he did. He possessed a shining light whenever he walked into a room and had a big contagious smile that always melted our hearts. James loved the Lord, always quoted scriptures, and LOVED gospel music. He was wise beyond his years for such a young man, and always acted like the big brother to his sisters and brothers. He had an old soul that was a huge part of what made him so unique. The one thing we admired most about James was his go-getter spirit.  He was always willing to help and learn new things, was a quick learner, and never met a challenge that he didn't conquer. Among all his talents he had a passion for cooking and loved creating meals, and of course eating too!

James leaves to cherish his memory his mother Juanita Hutchins; father James and Lynn Howard III; grandparents, Andre and Mary Clarke, James and Leona Howard II; siblings Janae Clarke, Stanley Hutchins Jr., Tiffany (Dendre) Carr, Shawnette, Laura, London, Miles, and Olivia Howard; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. James was preceded in death by his grandmother Sharon Howard.
