IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Geraldine Michele
Ridgley
August 8, 1960 – July 15, 2024
On July 15, 2024, at Doctors Community Hospital, God, quietly and peacefully, called Geraldine Michelle Ridgley from this earthly life to her eternal rest.
Born October 8, 1960, in Baltimore, Maryland, Geraldine was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas Westly Ridgley, Jr., and Patricia Ann Jones. She was also the bonus daughter of the late Mollie Alderman.
Geraldine obtained her education within the Baltimore County Public School System. She was a hard-working employee at the M&T Stadium, where she performed janitorial work for many years.
Geraldine's professional life was just one facet of her vibrant existence. She loved and adored her family; her boys and grandchildren meant the world to her. She enjoyed cooking grand meals and traveling with her beloved sons.
"Mother Ridgley", as many effectually called her, was a strong and faithful woman of God who loved the Lord with all her heart! A devout member of Citadel Cathedral of Prayer International, where her eldest son, Apostle Thomas Westly Ridgley, serves as the Global Senior Pastor and the Prelate of Citadel of Prayer International Covenant Churches, Mother Ridgely took great pride in serving as one of the National Mothers within the Local and National Assemblies. Her servitude embodied the spirit of great care and guidance.
You could always find Mother Ridgley praising God. No matter what she was going through, she gave God the Glory. She loved the children of Citadel. Often, you would see her sitting with them, making them behave while their parents were in meetings. Mother enjoyed Sundays after church when food was being served. If it was something she liked, she made sure it was on her plate, and when she was ready to go, everyone knew it because they "had better go and get MANN!"
Geraldine is preceded in death by her siblings Gwendolyn Jones, Alfred Barber, Arnold Gene Jones, Gene Arnold Jones, and her beloved son Antonio Thompson.
Geraldine Ridgley leaves to cherish her memories through her sons, Apostle Thomas W. Ridgley III, Michael Anthony Woodson (Ray), Robert "Donjuan" Thompson (Amber) and Dominique "Dejuan" Ridgley; grandchildren - Karon Ridgley, Harper Jones, Caseon Thompson, Sanaa Thompson, Ramir Thompson, Raina Pediford, Latrell Thompson, Antonio Kemp and Alyssa Kemp; siblings - Alonzo Barber Jr. (Stephanie) and Dorothea (Darryl) Brown; bonus siblings - Tommy Alderman, Patricia Alderman, Brenda Gail Alderman, Anna Alderman, and Charles Alderman; godsons Terell "Wiggy" Ferguson and Anthony "Tony" Burgess; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Geraldine will truly be missed. Her memory will live on and will never be forgotten.
