On the beautiful day of June 14, 1948, a baby girl was born Geneva Evelyn Young "Ozzie", in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to her parents, Rosa Lee Barnes and Tommie Lee Harris.

The family lived together in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where Ozzie was educated in Philadelphia School system. She graduated from Bartram High School.

After graduating from high school, Ozzie began her career in the federal government in 1975 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  She later moved to Alexandria, Virginia in the early 90's where she met Leroy James Craig. Together they built a beautiful life together. Hobbies- Reading, working out, hanging out with friends.

Ozzie had such a loving and joyful soul and spirit. she was a stepmom, friend, and sister to Thomas Bernard Harris who proceeded her in death and major role model to all.

Ozzie received her angel wings on February 23, 2021 and leaves to cherish her memory the love of her life, her husband,  Leroy James Craig; one son Lexus Craig; one daughter Britney Craig (Jovan); grandson Blake Smith; niece, Sharonda Hamilton, nephew, Tomaz Hamilton; best friend Deborah Johnson, and a host of other loving relatives and friends. Ozzie was proceeded in death by one brother Thomas Bernard Harris.
