Ms. Elaine Lykes Brown, 71, of Columbia, South Carolina has entered into eternal rest on June 17, 2025 in Camp Springs, Maryland. Elaine Lykes Brown was born June 26, 1953 in Columbia, South Carolina, to the late Jasper and Wilhelmina Howell Lykes.

Elaine, affectionately known to many as "Laine", graduated from C. A. Johnson High School Class of 1971.

After many years of dedicated service in the healthcare industry, She retired as a substance abuse counselor from Vanguard Group in 2015.

Left to cherish her precious memories are her children, Tirrippio (Miguel) Brown, Michelle (Michael) Brown and Micheal Brown; sister, Carolyn Kelly, grandchildren, Julien Pugh, Auzane Howell, Jada Pugh, Justice Pugh, Janaya (Daris) Soriano, Jeremiah Pugh, and Messiah Brown; and a host of other loving relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Jasper Lykes, Jr. and Marvin Lykes.
