It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Kenneth Boling, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and cousin. Charles entered into eternal rest at the age of 68 on October 15, 2024 at MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital. He was born on November 12, 1955 to Archie and Mabel Boling in Washington, DC. Charles dedicated 32 years of his life working at Bridgepoint National Harbourside Hospital, where he retired in the spring of 2024. Over the decades, he touched countless lives, offering both patients and coworkers a steady presence and a kind word. From an early age, Charles was an avid reader, immersing himself in books of all genres. His love for knowledge made him capable of engaging in conversation with anyone, whether it was about history, science, or the latest novel. He had an innate gift for storytelling, and his ability to listen and empathize left a lasting impression on all who knew him. Charles had a laugh that could fill a room and a spirit that could lift anyone's heart. He was the kind of person whose presence could light up a room. He will be remembered for his warm personality, laughter, positive spirit, genuine care for others, and cherished moments he shared with those he loved. He is preceded in death by his father, Archie Randolph Boling Sr; Mother, Mabel Ann Boling; brother, Archie Boling Jr; and brother, Oliver Boling. He is survived by his brother, Alvin Boling; brother, Darnell Boling; sister in law Melvia Boling; sister in law, Chong Suk Boling; niece, LaVeta Boling-Hilton; niece, Robbin Wigglesworth; nephews Alan and Brian Boling; niece, Melissa Boling; and a host of great nieces and nephews.
